UbuntuStudio 19.04 - Live DVD Usage

Image
Too Long Didn't Watch (TLDW): If you are using a Windows system with NTFS formatted drives, you won't have any issues with saving and loading projects. Based on a user's question and my own interest in the idea, I ran UbuntuStudio 19.04 from the Live DVD to see how it would perform. I only had a chance to test Kdenlive. I didn't run into too many issues other than some write permissions with EXT4 and having the correct Kdenlive project settings that save the project files in the same directory that your project files are located in.  This is part one of my Ubuntu Studio 19.04 install and configuration video series. I had some video issues that led me to cut some bad video from this recording and end the video early. I've also added some music to spice up my videos :-) Music is provided by Eric Matyas at www.soundimage.org UbuntuStudio is available on their site here: https://ubuntustudio.org/ Youtube: DailyMotion: Bitchute:

Install Syncthing on MacOS 10.13 install - Fail part 2 - Success!

I managed to get Syncthing up and running on my mac mini 10.13.6 (High Sierra). I had some video issues, but I swear I'll have them worked out in the future. Getting technology to work with us is a journey that I'm on and I'm glad some of you are along for the ride. Install Syncthing on MacOS 10.13 install - Fail part 1

Attempted to install Syncthing on my mac mini 10.13.6 (High Sierra), but ran into some issues. I'm posting this videos as an informative exercise in what can go wrong when installing syncthing over another version of syncthing. The MacOS bundle is available here: https://github.com/syncthing/syncthing-macos/releases/tag/v0.14.49-1 This is the version of Syncthing that I used, but it will most likely be out of date by the time you read this.
